Just realised, regarding the ‘Barney’s sister is the Mother’ theory that if Robin and Barney are the ones getting married, then Robin would literally be the Aunty of the kids which goes along with Robin being called ‘Aunt Robin.’

Hey guys, so I’m going to do a big list of ALL the reasons why the Mother isn’t Robin. I figure you guys are all pretty great fans who know why it isn’t her so if you want to help me can you submit reasons? Thank you!

In s6e1 ted says “I hope it doesn’t rain” and what we discover later to be Barneys wedding. Ted meets the mother at a wedding involving the yellow umbrella!! It could end up raining, the mother pulls out the yellow umbrella and BAM! Mother discovered I know its just theory but still, could be!

I really agree with this, and I hope we see the mother introduced in this way. What do you guys think?
